4-H Afterschool is a tremendous resource for youth development professionals and volunteers. We offer a series of user-friendly resource guides that help those working with youth build the skills and knowledge they need to deliver quality educational and developmental experiences. 4-H 101--4-H 101 is designed to assist staff in merging the concepts and principles of effective youth development delivered in non-formal (out of school) settings and with the management of 4-H clubs within an existing organizational structure. (USDA/CSREES)
Moving Ahead Together: Adolescent Growth and Development--Moving Ahead: Adolescent Growth and Development provides complete lesson plans and participant support materials to prepare adults to work effectively with youth in non-formal (out-of-school) settings.
Creating Youth and Adult Partnerships--Creating Youth-Adult Partnerships leads youth and adults new to group facilitation and to youth-adult partnerships through a 6-8 hour training to build their capacity to work together in true collaboration.
