Mission
of the Month – Think GIS!
Searching for
cool, yet low-cost, easy ways to connect
youth with science and technology? Look no
further than
Mission of
the Month. Now online at
CYFERnet,
this all-new Web site highlights a range of
tech-oriented activities, each one centered
on a monthly theme.
In November,
we explore the world with hands-on
GeoCaching activities. Together with GIS and
GPS buffs across the globe, youth/adult
partners can celebrate GIS Day—an annual
tribute to geospatial technology—via
The
Great CYFERnet Travel Bug Race,
the national
Youth
Favorite Places
project, or a local
Earthcaching
adventure.
With each
activity, participants develop geospatial
skills, strengthen team spirit and, most
importantly, have a great time! Visit

for complete details.
